The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) went into effect in 1990. For over 25 years, the ADA has been clear about communication rights for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. When you abide by the ADA, you not only stay on the right side of the law but most importantly you’re doing your part to fight discrimination. We can help you abide by ADA regulations and meet your communication needs in a variety of settings.
We know that privacy is a concern for our consumers. Rest assured that what we interpret for you is confidential. Except when disclosure is required by law, interpreters will maintain the highest standards of privacy according to RID’s Code of Professional Conduct.
